Nice One!

The Big Ones were biting today!

Around noon today, Cliffy latched on to this hawg that measured 31 inches!  This beauty was roaming around on a mud flat in 27 feet of water.  We caught many fish on the same spot ranging from 16 inches to this 31 incher.  Water temp today was 67 degrees.

There are two spots still available for the Classic.  Call or email to sign up!

2 Weeks To Go!

Only 2 weeks to go until the 2012 Minaki Walleye Classic!  I went fishing today with my friend Mike Davey and was good!  Lots of slot sized fish biting in both the current and the lake.  The May Fly hatch is on but its definitely not affecting the Walleye bite.

Walleyes are already on their summer patterns with lots of them schooling up and easy to catch.

Water levels are close to normal... maybe slightly low in town but the current flow has really picked up in the last week which should bring the water level up.

Come back for a detailed report on Monday including water temps and hopefully some pics!

Please check out the new sponsor section!

See you on the water,

JP
