<p>-We have reached the 50 team mark on our way to a full field of 70 teams! &nbsp;</p>
<p>-I am pleased to announce that Berkley and 529 Wellington have pledged their support once again for 2013!</p>
<p>-I met up with Dean Guarino from Fishtrix Tackle last week, we are planning on doing a video shoot showcasing a new bottom bouncer system that he has developed. &nbsp;Stay tuned for this one as we will showcase it this June in one of our new videos.</p>
<p>-Our first video episode titled "Episode 1: Bottom Bouncing Walleyes" has over 12,000 views on YouTube!</p>
<p>-The Mid-Canada boat show starts this week in Winnipeg on February 28. &nbsp;I'll be there that evening to see what's new and check out a couple seminars.</p>

<p>Around noon today, Cliffy latched on to this hawg that measured 31 inches! &nbsp;This beauty was roaming around on a mud flat in 27 feet of water. &nbsp;We caught many fish on the same spot ranging from 16 inches to this 31 incher. &nbsp;Water temp today was 67 degrees.</p>

<p>Walleyes are already on their summer patterns with lots of them schooling up and easy to catch.</p>
<p>Water levels are close to normal... maybe slightly low in town but the current flow has really picked up in the last week which should bring the water level up.</p>
<p>Come back for a detailed report on Monday including water temps and hopefully some pics!</p>

<p>The 2012 Minaki Walleye Classic is only 4 months away and the preparation has begun. &nbsp;Once again the deadline for the $500.00 Early Bird Draw is April 30th.</p>
<p>New entries have been coming in and we are once again ahead of last years pace.</p>
<p>We are looking for volunteers to help at the weigh scale this year. &nbsp;Hours will be from Noon to 5pm on July 7th &amp; 8th, please email me if you are interested. &nbsp;</p>

<p>The "Teams" section will be updated soon to show the 40 teams currently signed up for next year.</p>
<p>And so, the 2011 Minaki Walleye Classic is done for another year. &nbsp;I would like to thank all the Volunteers, Anglers, Sponsors &amp; The Minaki Community Club for making this the biggest and best Minaki Walleye Classic yet!</p>
